How to Refill a Post-it Note Dispenser: A 4-Step Checklist for Office Managers

Step 2: Remove the Empty Pad Correctly (Don't Just Rip It Out)

What to do: Open the dispenser lid fully. Press down on the black plastic tab at the back of the pad slot. This releases the spring tension. Slide the old pad forward and up.

The question everyone asks is "how do I get the old one out?" The question they should ask is "how do I get it out without breaking the spring?"
